What does critical cartography mean to me?
- Realizing that every dataset has an agenda and understanding the viewpoints of an individual map can help shape our perspectives of society.
- Perspectives are essential. Without them, we lose visualizing the beauty and the ugliness of the world. How can we embrace the work in our communities without taking into account the two sides?
- Knowledge IS truly power. When we have the tools to help out a community, then we must ascertain the education in order to do so.
